Dr. Kate Lathrop is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. She is currently the director of education for the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium and the associate fellowship director for the Hematology and Oncology Fellowship program in San Antonio. Dr. Lathrop’s current research focuses on targeting estrogen receptor beta in patients with triple negative breast cancer.
Dr. Lathrop earned her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed her Internal Medicine residency and her Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
