Dr. Puneet Singh is an Associate Professor of Breast Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where she is a clinical breast surgeon with expertise in the surgical and multidisciplinary management of breast cancer. She completed general surgery residency training at University of Chicago and during this time, she completed a 2 year research fellowship as well as a fellowship in Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics. She then completed breast surgical oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2019 prior to joining faculty. She serves as the Program Director for the breast surgical oncology fellowship and her research focuses on surgical clinical outcomes and a clinical trial of axillary management in HR+ breast cancer.
