Dr. Kate Lathrop is an assistant professor in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where she serves as director of education for the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium and associate fellowship director for the Hematology and Oncology Fellowship. Her research focuses on targeting estrogen receptor beta in triple negative breast cancer. She earned her MD, completed residency, and trained in Hematology/Oncology at the same institution.
